The Glienicke Bridge (Glienicke Brücke) in Berlin used to be known as the "bridge of spies." American U2 pilot Gary Powers crossed this bridge to be exchanged for Russian spy Rudolf Abel. Today anybody can cross it. You can thank a Cold War Veteran for that. The text on the shirt says "The Gienicke Bridge is not just for spies anymore : Thank a Cold War Vet". The image is of the sector border sign that was on the bridge which announced "You are leaving the American Sector at the Center of the Bridge" in four languages: English, Russian, French and German.
